Cloudi-Fi - New Features Release on October 3rd, 2024 – Maintenance details

We are planning a new release scheduled for 3 October 2024, from 10 AM to 2 Pm CET. This release introduces several updates and improvements:

1. Dashboard (Beta Release)

   • A "Locations" map for geolocated authentication events, offering a clear view of user activity across locations.

   • "Top locations" for devices and authentication types, with logarithmic and linear scales for better data readability.

2. Cloudi-Fi admin console's new look and feel

   • As an admin, you can seamlessly switch between the classic and new designs from the "My account" section.

   • The toggle feature allows flexibility in choosing the preferred dashboard view.

3. Geocoding service

   • A new geocoding service has been added to convert location attributes, like names and country details, into geolocalized data.

   • This service will be integrated into the upcoming “Locations” module to improve visualization of user activity across locations.

4. Enhanced security

   • Recent external penetration tests improved our Content Security Policy (CSP).

   • These enhancements demonstrate our commitment to strengthening security measures.

5. Enhanced Support coverage

   • New on-call process to enhance our support coverage.

6. Bug fixes

   • Various bug fixes will be applied to improve overall performance.

Impact:

• No service interruption is expected during this maintenance window. All services should remain fully operational throughout the release period.

Action Required:

• No action is required from users. However, administrators should familiarize themselves with the new RBAC features post-release.
