New Features Release on November 7th, 2024

We are planning a new release scheduled for 7 November 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CET. This release introduces several updates and improvements:

Minute-level access log filtering
- Access logs now support minute-level filtering in the DateTime picker.
- Allows users to manage large datasets and locate specific log entries more efficiently.
Enhanced rate limiting
- Rate limits are changed to critical endpoints like password reset and login.
Enhanced email templates and language adaptation
- Email design refresh: Updated templates to align with the admin console design.
- Adaptive language for admin emails: Emails are sent in the initiator’s preferred language.
  - Admins can set a preferred language in "My Account" for consistent communication.

Lobby - Extend account validity
- Fixed an issue where selecting "Extend Account Validity" kept the "Processing" pop-up open too long.
Administrator timezone issue (UTC +0)
- Resolved an issue where new guest users used the browser’s timezone instead of the administrator’s.
Email drop and SMTP enhancements
- Improved handling of HELO/EHLO commands and blacklist checking for better email delivery and security.

Impact:

No service interruption is expected during this maintenance window. All services should remain fully operational throughout the release period.
