    Proposed Resolution

    Upcoming Release on 8/4/25 will include the migration of a Database server to a more optimized server as well as on 10/4/25 Multithread Radius will be implemented which will deal directly with service scaling.

    Incident Summary

    An issue was identified with location recognition on Cloudi-Fi’s side for native integrations such as Meraki, Fortinet, WLC, Aruba, Mikrotik.

    Impact

    All guest users were redirected to the default captive portal configured under Admin UI > Settings > Company Account > Default Portal instead of the designated portal under Admin UI > Locations.

    • 03/28/2025 at 8:45 AM: Cloudi-Fi tech team began investigation.

    • 03/28/2025 at 9:10 AM: A fix was deployed to production.

    • 03/28/2025 at 9:15 AM: Issue successfully resolved.

    Root Cause

    The issue arose due to a hotfix deployed to resolve location recognition for Zscaler integration, which inadvertently impacted native integrations.

    Action Plan

    • Action 1: Modify the affected code to prevent unintended disruptions to native integrations while maintaining the fix for Zscaler.

    Bug Fixes

    • DHCP - Fix IPsec Status & Show Logs: Monitor IPSec tunnel status and byte transfers.

    • ESC Key Issue: Fixed problem where pressing ESC would close modals/asides with active dropdowns, inputs, or date pickers.
